Greek Horehound. A small dense mounding shrub to 50cm. The foliage and stems are covered with soft dense felt. The leaves are a bit larger and greener than Ballota acetabulosa. Small pink flowers are produced in early summer making attractive whorls around the stems. Faded flowers can be trimmed, but are still attractive when left to dry.

Prune back quite hard in spring to keep the plant compact and less woody. New shoots will soon form to re-fresh the appearance and increase flowering.
