Tenerife landscape - Erysimum scoparium

Erysimum scoparium - growing in the harsh volcanic conditions of Tenerife.  This relation of the wall flower is almost constantly blooming & forms a dense shrub, covered with pinkish lilac flowers

We select species that are generally pretty tough and need little water once established.

 

Some are native to Portugal & Southern Europe, others come from the various mediterranean regions of the world.

With a little care and knowledge these types of plants are easy to grow and care for.
